Jeff Yeaw

Director, Risk Operations & Safety

Jeff Yeaw oversees the Claims and Risk Management divisions in his role as Director of Risk Operations and Safety at Afinida Risk.
Jeff is a certified Associate of Risk Management (ARM) and received an MBA at the Pepperdine School of Business. He has consulted directly with companies and industries of all sizes such as SpaceX and UPS since 2003 on workers’ compensation, general liability, commercial auto and occupational health & safety matters. Jeff enjoys building relationships with companies and assisting them with risk reduction and supporting a safe work environment.

Michael Yach

Operations Manager Claims & Risk

Michael manages the operations of the Workers’ Compensation Claims and Risk department to meet operational, financial, and service requirements. He has over 33 years of diverse insurance experience covering many areas, from outside investigation of auto, property, general liability incidents, internal oversight of claims as well as sales and marketing. Michael enjoys developing productive relationships with his coworkers as well as clients and the people he meets.

Tom Irving

Tom Irving

Senior Safety and Risk Consultant

Tom, formally trained and certified in Accident Reconstruction, he has investigated several thousand accidents including highway motor vehicle crashes, and industrial workplace losses, involving property damage, injury, and multi-fatality. Tom uses this experience to identify risk with effective solutions for improving client workplace safety and claim prevention.
Tom keeps current on proposed rulemaking and final rule changes to help clients with their OSHA, USDOT and other state and Federal regulatory compliance.
Also, Tom has significant experience with defense case litigation presenting as an expert witness, deposition and testimony against inflated and fraudulent claims. Tom understands the employer’s responsibility for maintaining a reasonable standard of care while also minimizing client exposure.
Focused on long-term client satisfaction and cooperative co-employer relationships, Tom enjoys serving our clients applying all his expertise to offer practical methods for improved loss prevention that match client commitment and resources.
